IMPORTANT NOTE – PROFESSIONAL TAX (PT) -Maharashtra

As per the latest government notification, the due date for furnishing monthly and annual returns of professional tax (PT) has been revised. Hence, the payment due date has been changed from the 31st of every month to the 15th of every month. Accordingly, from March 2026 onwards, PT must be paid on or before the 15th of each month. Failure to comply with the revised timeline will attract applicable late fees and penalties. All concerned are requested to take note of the change and ensure timely compliance.
