The UT Administration of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu has notified draft rules dated 20 July 2026 under the Code on Wages, 2019, Industrial Relations Code, 2020, Code on Social Security, 2020, and Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions Code, 2020.
The draft rules regulate wages, working hours, industrial relations, trade unions, grievance redressal, social security benefits, workplace safety, health, registration, licensing, contract labour and related compliance requirements.
They propose to supersede the existing rules governing these subjects. Affected persons, employers, employees, trade unions and other stakeholders may submit objections or suggestions in the prescribed format within 45 days from the date the Gazette copies are made available to the public.
