EPFO e-Office to Remain Unavailable on 5 August 2026
The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), through a communication dated 3 August 2026, has announced scheduled downtime of its e-Office application for system upgradation.
The application will remain unavailable on Wednesday, 5 August 2026, from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM.
During the maintenance window, EPFO will upgrade the following modules:
eFile Version 7.4.4-3
Portal Version 8.2.2
MIS Version 7.3.0
MDM Version 7.3.1-1
All EPFO zonal and regional offices have been advised to plan their official work accordingly and complete urgent e-Office activities before the downtime begins.
The communication relates specifically to the EPFO’s internal e-Office application and does not expressly mention downtime of the Member Portal, Employer Portal or other public-facing services.
