Maharashtra Notification on Authorisation of Officers under Social Security Code 2020

The Government of Maharashtra has issued a notification vide No. Misc 1025/CR.134/Labour-7A (1) under the Code on Social Security, 2020, authorising designated officers to perform functions relating to enforcement, inspection, and compliance under the Code. Through this notification, specific अधिकारियों have been empowered to exercise statutory authority in monitoring adherence to social security provisions across establishments. Employers and stakeholders are advised to carefully review the scope of powers conferred under this notification and ensure that their internal compliance frameworks, records, and statutory practices are aligned with the requirements of the Code to avoid any regulatory exposure.
