Shop Act OSH Code Exemption Notification-Harayana

The Government of Haryana has exempted establishments covered under the Haryana Shops and Commercial Establishments Act, 1958, which obtain registration under Section 3 of the Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions Code, 2020, after finalisation of the Haryana Rules, from the requirement of separate Registration or Intimation of Business Commencement under Section 13 or Section 13A of the Haryana Shops and Commercial Establishments Act, 1958. This exemption is granted to avoid duplication of registration and compliance process. However, establishments must continue to comply with the other provisions of the Haryana Shops and Commercial Establishments Act, 1958, wherever such provisions are not inconsistent with the OSH Code, 2020.
