The Administrator, A&N Islands has revised minimum wage rates w.e.f. 1 July 2026 — Unskilled ₹660/day, Semi-skilled ₹741, Skilled/Clerical ₹864, Highly Skilled ₹947 — a uniform ₹8/day VDA increase based on AICPI for Oct 2025–Mar 2026. Issued for the first time under Section 7 of the Code on Wages, 2019, the order now covers all employments in the UT rather than only the six scheduled employments. Employers must apply the revised rates from the July 2026 wage period.
