- Sick leave
12 days, available from the first 12 months of service and in each year after.
Carry forward is not applicable.
- Casual leave
12 days, available from the first 12 months of service and in each year after.
Carry forward is not applicable.
- Earned / privilege leave
12 days once 12 months of continuous service are complete. Up to 24 days may be accumulated.
Carry forward is capped by the 24-day accumulation limit.
- Normal working hours
8 hours a day and 48 hours a week.
- Rest interval
At least a 60-minute break after 4 hours of work.
- Maximum overtime
Capped at 50 hours a quarter.
- Spread-over
10.5 hours a day, start to finish.
- Overtime wage rate
Twice the ordinary wage rate.
- Year
The statutory year runs from 1 January.
- Ordinary Rate of Wages
Basic wages plus allowances, including the cash value of any food or other concession, but not bonus.
